Role and Responsibilities

The Licensed Therapist will be responsible for working closely and effectively with a multidisciplinary care team (including nutrition, medical, psychiatry, and mentorship) and utilize evidenced based care modalities (such as FBT and CBT-E). The Licensed Therapist will be responsible for evidence based treatment delivery, quality documentation, and ongoing assessment of patients’ and families’ needs. The Licensed Therapist role is emotionally rewarding but inherently difficult, with benefits supporting long-term well-being and job satisfaction.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, between 8am-8pm. Each work day is 8 hours + lunch, breaks, and 2 late work days where your day starts later and also ends later (8 PM) in your patient population's time zone.
Responsibilities include providing evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and comorbid diagnoses in a virtual clinic setting, implementing family-based treatment (FBT), enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), cognitive behavioral therapy for ARFID, maintaining a caseload of 30-40 patients with 20-26 hours of direct care, participating in trainings, assessing and diagnosing mental health conditions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, using between-session messaging to support patients, engaging in treatment team meetings, maintaining licensure, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must have an active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy from at least one US state in the posting's time zone. Ability to support a caseload of diverse patients, passion for evidence-based care, availability to provide care 2 evenings per week until 8pm, strong team player skills, ability to deliver care virtually, and passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment.
Preferred qualifications include experience in Family-Based Treatment, eating disorder treatment, evidence-based or intensive treatment settings, supporting patients with suicidal ideation and trauma, and case management experience working with multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus for therapists licensed in California, paid in two installments, and an annual earning potential range of $80,000 to $115,000 consisting of base pay plus a 15% performance-based bonus potential.
Time off includes flexible PTO (3-5 weeks recommended) and 11 paid company holidays, generous parental leave.
