Payroll Director

Position Summary

Epic, a privately held global leader in health information technology, is seeking a seasoned Payroll Director to lead and scale our payroll operations. As a key partner to our finance, legal, and human resources teams, you'll play a critical role in managing and continuously improving payroll processes for 14,000 employees worldwide.
In this role, you'll ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing across multiple jurisdictions, oversee tax reporting, benefits integration, and audits, and champion a positive employee experience at every payroll touchpoint. You'll also help drive strategic system enhancements and tackle new challenges as our global footprint continues to grow.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of payroll experience (preferred), including multi-state and global payroll experience
  • CPP (preferred)
  • Experience managing projects, meeting deadlines, and implementing new procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with UKG Pro is a plus
  • Relocation to the Madison, WI, area (reimbursed)
  • COVID-19 vaccination
