Architect, develop and maintain robust, scalable APIs and microservices supporting conversational AI workflows.

Optimize backend systems for high performance, reliability, and scalability.

Ensure secure and compliant integration with healthcare systems like EHRs and scheduling systems, adhering to standards such as HIPAA and FHIR.

Collaborate with AI teams to deploy and manage NLP models in production environments.

Lead design and implementation of database schemas and data pipelines for structured and unstructured healthcare data.

Build CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and ensure high availability of backend services.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues ensuring minimal downtime.

Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of technical excellence.

Stay ahead of industry trends, implementing emerging technologies that drive innovation.

5+ years of backend development experience building secure and scalable systems.

Advanced proficiency in Python, Node.js, Java, or Go.

Expertise in RESTful API and GraphQL development.

Deep understanding of microservices architecture and best practices.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Kubernetes container orchestration.

Strong database design and management skills with SQL and NoSQL platforms like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.

Knowledge of security best practices including encryption, authentication, and secure data handling.

Proficiency in building and managing CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with conversational AI or NLP technologies and deploying machine learning models.

Familiarity with healthcare data standards like FHIR, HL7, or EHR integrations.

Experience in healthcare or health tech sector.

Hands-on experience with large-scale distributed systems.

Located in or familiar with the Latin America work environment.
