Job description

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the Core Reliability & Observability team in Platform Engineering. You will help shape Doctolib's observability strategy and ensure the platform remains reliable, debuggable, and scalable across Europe.

Your Impact

Your mission will be to develop logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting capabilities and contribute directly to supporting 400,000 health professionals and 80 million patients.

  • Lead the observability strategy across the platform, focusing on scalable, developer-friendly logging and tracing
  • Identify and lead large-scale reliability initiatives, including incident detection, response, and postmortems
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and improve on-call experience by refining alerts and reducing noise

Who you are

We encourage you to apply even if you don't match every point exactly. A great fit will typically have:
  • 3+ years hands-on experience on a large-scale production platform
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Helm and ArgoCD (GitOps)
  • Deep expertise in observability tooling (e.g., Fluent Bit, OpenTelemetry, Loki, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Thanos, Datadog)
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Ruby, Python, Go, Java, etc.) and infrastructure-as-code principles
  • Fluency in English and strong troubleshooting skills

Nice to have

It would be fantastic if you have contributed to open-source observability projects, worked in high-growth environments, or are passionate about developer experience and platform engineering.
