Job description
Large market, perfect timing: Your responsibility
Northern Germany is one of the largest healthcare markets in Germany — a market that needs digitalisation. At Doctolib we enable this change with an AI-supported solution that relieves healthcare professionals and brings better care to patients — practice by practice.
As Sales Director B2B / SaaS (x/f/m) for the region, you will run your territory like your own business and bring real value into everyday clinical practice with our products. Your mission: drive sustainable revenue growth through a clear strategy and consistent execution, lead and develop a high-performing field sales team, and take our multi-product sales model in your region to the next level.
Your responsibilities
- You will be fully responsible for new business in Northern Germany: develop a clear commercial strategy, implement it consistently and drive measurable, sustainable growth.
- You will build, coach and develop a multi-layered sales organisation (Regional Managers and Account Executive teams) with around 40 employees in your region.
- You will establish professional sales management in your team: forecasting, pipeline management, KPI framework and performance management.
- You will design the coverage model — segmentation, territory planning, team structure and, if needed, additional specialist roles — to maximise efficiency and impact.
- You will work closely with our marketing and go-to-market teams on positioning, messaging, acquisition strategy and regional priorities.
- Together with HR you will implement best-in-class talent practices: holistic recruiting strategy, targeted retention, leadership development and forward-looking succession planning.
Your profile
If you do not meet every single point below but believe this role fits you — apply. We look forward to your perspective!
- Sales leadership with empathy and passion: you have led high-performing B2B field sales teams through Regional Managers and understand the complexity of multi-layered sales organisations.
- Enthusiasm for digital transformation and innovation: you believe smart digital solutions make a real difference in healthcare for professionals and patients, and you make that vision tangible for clients, your team and the market.
- Strong coaching skills: you know how to develop first-line managers and build a culture of performance and accountability.
- Analytical rigour in performance management: you rely on data, identify root causes and implement actions without delay.
- Experienced change manager: you confidently guide your team through transformations such as scaling, strategic portfolio expansion or rapid organisational change.
- Excellent communication at all levels: you are proficient in spoken and written German and English (C1 level or higher).
- Strong in networking and personal contact: you achieve the greatest impact through direct interaction with your team, clients and colleagues. Willingness to travel (occasionally international), a valid driving licence (Class B) and residence in Northern Germany — or willingness to relocate to the region — are required.
