We are looking for a Customer Accounting / Billing Manager with a strong foundation in financial accounting to join our Finance department in Paris.

About the team you will join
As Customer Accounting / Billing Manager, you will join the Group Accounting team within the Finance department and report to the Senior Working Capital Manager.
You will be part of a strategic team that collaborates with all departments of the organization, including Sales, Finance, IT, and Product. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects in a dynamic international environment where innovation is constant.
The missions go beyond credit or collections management and require expertise in revenue accounting, financial closing, and internal controls.
Your missions
We are looking for a Customer Accounting / Billing Manager to support our growth and lead our global customer billing team. You will be responsible for our high-volume billing activities in all countries of the group (France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands).
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and lead a dynamic team of 3 to 5 professionals handling billing activities across all group countries, fostering their growth while ensuring operational excellence
- Oversee monthly and annual financial closing activities, including performance and quality of periodic internal SOX controls
- Ensure smooth billing operations by controlling the completeness and accuracy of monthly customer billing cycles through strategic collaboration with Sales and Finance teams
- Drive continuous automation and process optimization using technology to efficiently manage high-volume billing operations, eliminating manual processes as much as possible
- Manage the Order-to-Cash process in partnership with the Senior Working Capital Manager, including proactive monitoring of automatic withdrawals, active participation in doubtful debt recovery, and payment application administration
- Promote technological improvements by identifying and implementing system enhancements in our tech stack (Salesforce, Zuora, SAP) to support large-scale operations
Expected qualities for this position
You may be the next member of our team if you:
- Are bilingual in English and French and able to work in a constantly evolving international environment
- Have proven expertise in high-volume billing operations and financial accounting (revenue recognition, financial closing, internal control concepts), ideally gained through audit experience or senior accounting roles in fast-growing companies. (Note: We are looking for expertise beyond simple credit or collections management)
- Have the ability to manage and engage a team of specialists, with a hands-on approach and a focus on talent development
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with commercial and support teams at all levels of seniority on cross-functional projects
- Have a strong appetite for IT and automation, capable of identifying and eliminating manual processes to maintain efficiency at scale
It would be fantastic if you also have:
- An analytical mind to identify trends, solve problems, and support decision-making
- Direct team management experience
- Familiarity with tools such as Zuora, SAP, Salesforce, or similar

Recruitment process
- 30-minute phone interview with the recruiter
- 60-minute video interview with the manager
- 60-minute on-site case study with the manager and N+2 (accounting director)
- Final interview with the VP Finance
- At least one reference check
