Our mission is to prevent the loss of vision and ultimately blindness by distributing a predictive AI software for ophthalmology centers that supports therapy planning for retinal patients. We use deep-learning models (AI) trained on thousands of cases and millions of images to predict the progression of chronic retinal diseases such as AMD, RVO, and DME, to individualize intravitreal therapy (IVOM), and to improve visual outcomes and treatment adherence.

Tasks

Your responsibilities as Technical Sales & Implementation Manager
  • Support the field staff of our sales partners (HE, ZEISS, Topcon) in implementing our AI at the customer site.
  • Identify improvements in the IVOM process and train our customers on how to get the maximum benefit from our AI assistant.
  • Participate in regional and national conferences to present and explain our solution to potential customers.
  • Provide feedback and new feature requests to our product management team.
You do a great job when
  • You know the IVOM process and our customers' IT setup better than they sometimes do themselves.
  • Our initial implementation time (currently 2–12 weeks) is reduced to a few days.
  • We are live with our customers 99.9% of the time, including the latest updates.
  • Our customers would never consider switching to another tool because they continuously gain more value from our AI — thanks to your hands-on support both remotely and on-site.

Qualifications

Your Must-haves
  • Strong service-oriented communication skills in German and ideally English with different customer groups such as physicians, medical assistants (MFAs), and practice IT.
  • Tech-savviness — comfortable identifying potential PC issues and involving our internal IT for complex problems.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, able to work independently and remotely as part of a dynamic team.
Your Nice-to-haves
  • Experience in sales, customer or IT support, customer success, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with medical imaging systems, ideally OCT, imaging software (PACS), and PVS/KIS systems.
  • Work experience in startups, AI, or healthcare.
  • Additional languages besides German, e.g. Dutch, French, Italian.

Benefits

  • Direct impact on improving the quality of life for patients and ophthalmologists.
  • Immediate responsibility for customer implementations in 1–2 countries, guaranteeing rapid personal growth, with 4 colleagues and direct connection to our CEO.
  • Flexible working hours, remote work, and — if needed — central offices at Munich main station and Münster (Westphalia).
  • Competitive, performance-based compensation.
  • Open start-up culture, flat hierarchies, and a diverse team (10+ nationalities, age range >30 years, 44% female) of experts (>10 startups, >100 medical devices, >100,000 retinal therapies).
