ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Senior Manager or Director to lead Risk Adjustment Operations and serve on the Clinical Operations team. The role intersects Clinical Operations, Finance, Product, and Data and is responsible for accurately capturing patient complexity to reflect true clinical needs.
This position will build and scale risk adjustment approaches, embed workflows into care delivery, and drive measurable performance improvement. The role will also support market launches, care delivery workflows, and enrollment operations as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Build and scale Daymark’s risk adjustment operations and integrate them into care delivery:
  • Define and operationalize the approach to risk capture aligned with care model and payer contracts
  • Identify opportunities to improve documentation (e.g., suspects and refreshables)
  • Design and implement workflows that integrate risk adjustment into care delivery and ensure adoption by Care Teams
  • Partner with Product and Data to reflect workflows in tools and support them with accurate data
  • Evaluate and manage vendors for chart prep, suspecting, and coding
  • Establish performance tracking, reporting, and review cadences and drive improvements
Broader Clinical Operations priorities:
  • Improve care delivery workflows, enrollment operations, and cross-team coordination
  • Diagnose operational friction and implement solutions to improve reliability and efficiency
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate needs into workflows, tools, and processes
  • Support operational readiness for new markets and service lines and step into high-priority initiatives
Operational infrastructure and scaling:
  • Translate strategic priorities into operational workplans
  • Ensure KPIs have clear ownership and follow-through
  • Support operational review cadence and performance visibility
  • Identify execution gaps and help drive resolution

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Experience
  • Experience in risk adjustment, population health, or value-based care operations
  • Strong understanding of HCC coding, suspecting, and chart review workflows
  • Experience working with clinicians and embedding workflows into care delivery
  • Experience partnering with Product, Data, and Analytics teams
  • Startup or high-growth experience is a plus

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This role is remote within the Northeast US with a strong preference for candidates based in Boston, MA, New York, NY, or Providence, RI. Anticipated compensation is $120,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on location and experience.
