Daymark Health is a value-based oncology company redefining the cancer care experience for patients, providers, and health plans. Daymark’s comprehensive, personalized cancer care platform empowers patients with dedicated care navigation, symptom-focused support, behavioral health care, and social resources.
Daymark combines evidence-based health interventions and a hybrid in-person + virtual care model to improve the overall cancer experience. The company is led by experienced oncology and value-based care leaders and is backed by venture investors.
About the role
As a Senior Data Analyst at Daymark Health, you will translate data into action across the organization. You will partner with Clinical Operations, Finance, and Partnerships to ensure data is modeled, transformed, and surfaced to directly support patient care, operational execution, and value-based performance.
This hands-on, cross-functional role is ideal for someone who enjoys building analytics from the ground up: moving the organization from spreadsheets toward scalable, trusted dashboards and analytics products. You will work with Daymark’s modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt, AWS) and collaborate with data engineering and analytics teammates.
What you'll do
Early (around 3 months):
- Support core financial and operational reporting; partner with Finance and Clinical Ops to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to build and transform analytics-ready tables in Snowflake for downstream reporting and analysis.
- Surface clinical operations insights to help care teams understand patient engagement, utilization, and early outcomes.
- Translate spreadsheet-based reporting into repeatable dashboards for internal stakeholders.
By 6 months:
- Own dashboards and reports used by Clinical Operations to track engaged patient populations, care delivery metrics, and outcomes over time.
- Deliver partnership-specific reporting (for payer partners) clearly delineating performance, outcomes, and utilization by contract.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to iterate on metric definitions and ensure data is decision-ready.
- Establish a repeatable approach to analytics that balances rigor with speed.
By 12 months:
- Become a trusted analytics partner across Clinical Ops, Finance, and Partnerships, proactively identifying insights and opportunities to improve outcomes and operations.
- Help mature Daymark’s analytics foundation by improving documentation, metric consistency, and data quality standards.
- Contribute to longer-term analytics strategy, including advanced tooling and AI-enabled analysis.
What we are looking for
- Experience: 3+ years in data analytics, business intelligence, or analytics engineering working with healthcare data (claims, clinical, operational, outcomes, or financial data). Oncology or value-based care experience is a plus.
- Technical ability: Advanced SQL and Python skills with experience transforming and modeling data in a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake or similar). Hands-on experience with dbt, BI/dashboarding tools, and visualization tools such as Sigma, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Cross-functional team player: Experience working with non-technical stakeholders and translating questions into clear analytical outputs.
- Strong communicator: Able to explain insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Methodical and curious: Care about rigor while being pragmatic about iteration.
- Comfortable wearing many hats: Thrive in cross-functional, fast-moving environments.
- Comfort with ambiguity: Experience succeeding in scaling organizations where clarity is built over time.

Compensation will vary based on experience and ability: $110,000 - $130,000 depending on location.
