Summary
Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Financial Services teams and various business units to support Hyatt's continued leadership in hospitality.
The Opportunity
The primary responsibility of this position is the oversight of the commercial services accounting team and their assigned processes within the Hyatt monthly and quarterly close. Tasks include preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, billings, analytics, and identifying process improvement projects. The Senior Accountant will also serve as a customer-service point of contact for various business units.
- Prepare and/or review monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, billings, and analytics.
- Field and resolve inquiries from management, other departments, and external auditors.
- Contribute to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, including documentation and testing of key controls.
- Prepare and/or review quarterly schedules for external reporting.
- Assist with optimization of accounting procedures and special projects.
- Interact regularly with finance teams, business units, and external auditors.

Qualifications
Experience Required:
• 3-5 years of experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, or equivalent roles.
Experience Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• CPA (optional)
• Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office
• Financial ERP systems experience (Oracle preferred)

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $78,500 to $108,500. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards and an annual bonus. The final offered salary will depend on experience, qualifications, and work location.
