Our school client is seeking a K-12 Occupational Therapist (OT) in Chicago, IL. Job ID: 82751926.
Client's Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy required from an accredited program.
- Must hold a valid Illinois occupational therapy license and meet school-based certification requirements.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting.
Summary of Opportunity
- Conduct evaluations to determine students' functional abilities and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy to help students improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living tasks.
- Work with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success in the classroom.
- Keep accurate records of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on accommodations and modifications for student success.
