Our client is seeking a Certified ESL (English as a second Language) Teacher - Chicago, IL.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in education or related field.
- Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with ESL endorsement.
- Training/experience in supporting English learners (ELs).
Position Summary
- Teach English language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
- Assess EL students and monitor language progress.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to EL standards.
- Collaborate with teachers and families to support EL needs.
- Provide accommodations/support to help ELs access the curriculum.
