As part of the Cordys team, you'll play a vital role in developing cutting-edge AI solutions that revolutionize the diagnosis of heart diseases such as myocardial infarction and heart failure. Our goal is to empower doctors with advanced tools that enable earlier and more accurate diagnoses, ultimately leading to improved patient outcomes.

We are currently seeking driven and motivated individuals to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing the software that drives our innovative products forward. What your responsibilities would look like

  • Design, develop, and test the code that powers our products.
  • Finetune and optimize our machine learning models.
  • Bring machine learning models into production using our cloud-based platform.
  • Build robust integrations between our platform and third-party APIs.
  • Build a web-based user interface for medical professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related field. 
  • Demonstrated experience (2+ years) in software development or machine learning. 
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/React, AWS, Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), Docker, and preferably PyTorch. 
  • Proven track record of developing code for production customer-facing applications, such as APIs, marketplace apps, website apps, etc. 
  • Citizenship in an EU/EEA member state or possession of a valid work permit for the Netherlands. Applications that do not meet this requirement will not be considered. 

A plus would be

  • Hands-on experience with quality management, including ISO-13485, ISO-62304, and ISO-27001, and familiarity with medical device regulations in Europe, such as the MDR. 
  • Previous experience working in a startup or scale-up environment. 
  • Proficiency in DevOps and MLOps, supporting the entire lifecycle of AI-powered software products, including data preparation, model training, testing, inference, bug tracking, monitoring, and documentation. 
  • Knowledge of ECG modeling and analysis, including input modalities, common tasks, organs, tools, formats, standards, models, pitfalls, literature, etc.
