Clear.bio has developed a digital self-help tool that enables type 2 diabetes patients to discover their best diet and adopt a healthier lifestyle to reduce their diabetes. Real-time bio-data, a smart app, and dietitian guidance via chat for personalized nutritional advice support behavioral change.
Your Responsibilities: As a dietitian at Clear.bio, you will have three main tasks:
- Digitally guide patients who use our sensor in making the right dietary choices
- Maintain contact with the practice support staff (POH) of referring practices
- Conduct demos of our treatment to new practices
You will provide advice related to their disease, the importance of proper nutrition, treatment goals, self-care, lifestyle aspects such as sports and social activities, prevention of possible complications, and optionally about medication effects.
You will also teach patients to monitor and interpret blood glucose using sensors, respond to hypo- and hyperglycemia, log food correctly, interpret glucose values and Food Scores, and optionally advise on tapering medication towards the practice support staff (POH).
By educating, instructing, and providing practical help, you help patients lower and stabilize their blood glucose levels, enabling as independent a life as possible and reducing or preventing symptoms and risk of complications.
About You
- Completed recognized education as a dietitian (like Nutrition and Dietetics)
- Registered in the Quality Register Paramedics (KP)
- Possess a personal AGB code
- Post-HBO Nutrition and Diabetes (basic)
- Strong customer-oriented mentality
- Curious, driven, process-oriented
- Entrepreneurial spirit with pragmatic and hands-on attitude
- Fluent and error-free in Dutch and English
- Experience with guiding clients with diabetes mellitus
- Digitally skilled but with a personal approach
- Interest in the latest technological developments in healthtech / eHealth
- Experience working securely with health information
Bonus points:
- Experience with blood glucose monitors such as Freestyle Libre
- Experience as diabetes nurse or practice support staff is a plus; business or IT background also valuable
- Speaking good German or French is a plus for international ambitions
- Specific cultural knowledge of Hindustani, Turkish, or Moroccan dietary habits is valuable for our patients

Employment Details
The dietitian works at least 24 hours per week. Other arrangements are negotiable.
