As a Senior Software Engineer at Charta, you'll be responsible for developing software solutions, making informed project decisions considering the product roadmap, designing customer-centric products and features, and maintaining scalable systems.

Your tasks include determining team objectives and priorities, participating in product ideation and development from the start, initiating product discovery and refinement sessions, analyzing problems and crafting solutions and architectures, and delivering high-quality code with thorough documentation and smooth deployment.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, at least 4 years of professional software development experience, fluency in backend languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, or C/C++, and experience with microservices, AWS, PostgreSQL, Docker, and ECS/Kubernetes is a plus. Experience with generative AI technologies, distributed systems, and performance optimization are also beneficial. Strong communication skills across engineering, product, and other teams are essential.

Salary range is $150,000 - $210,000 USD depending on experience, plus equity and benefits.
