Cara Care (HiDoc Technologies GmbH) develops a clinically validated digital therapy app for people with digestive disorders — especially irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), GERD and dyspepsia. The product combines symptom and food tracking, nutrition plans, behavioral exercises and 1:1 expert coaching to help users identify triggers, reduce symptoms and improve quality of life. Cara Care is based in Berlin and was founded by physicians and medical experts.

We aim to eradicate the stigma around gut health by making evidence-based, personalized digestive care accessible and easy to use. Cara Care is CE-certified as a medical device in Europe and integrates the latest gut‑health research with behavioral design to deliver measurable outcomes.

We provide a holistic, app‑based therapy pathway: symptom and food tracking, tailored nutrition and reintroduction plans, recipes, audio‑guided hypnosis and emotional/behavioral exercises, plus technical support and optional clinician workflows. In Germany the therapy can be prescribed and is covered by many statutory and private health insurers. In early 2025 Bayer will acquire HiDoc Technologies, the team behind the Cara Care app.
