Cara Care develops an evidence-based digital therapy app for gut disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), GERD and functional dyspepsia. Our mission is to remove the stigma around gut health and empower people to manage digestive symptoms through a personalized, clinically informed program. Founded by physicians and led by a multidisciplinary medical team (nutritionists, psychologists and gastroenterology experts), the company is based in Berlin and operates an international team. Cara Care is certified as a medical device in Europe and was acquired by the Bayer group in 2025.
What we offer
We provide a holistic, personalized app that combines symptom and nutrition tracking with tailored programs, audio-guided hypnotherapy, education and practical recipe guidance. The service is science-driven, designed to identify triggers and reduce symptoms, and—where applicable—available at no additional cost for insured patients in Germany.
