What You’ll Do
You’ll join the AI/ML domain as a technical leader and hands-on contributor, working with engineers and product stakeholders to drive LLM & ML powered systems focused on retrieval, intelligent agents, and high-trust clinical capabilities.
- Lead the vision and direction of AI domains, understand data types, and find use cases for AI-based solutions
- Help evolve the retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architecture to improve accuracy and recall
- Design and implement agentic AI systems using frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex for document understanding and multi-step reasoning
- Optimize embedding, vector search, reranking, and hybrid retrieval pipelines
- Develop LLM prompt strategies, chaining logic, and tool-using agents for dynamic workflows
- Design, test, and monitor system performance and accuracy metrics
- Stay current with GenAI research and apply cutting-edge techniques to production
- Partner with product and domain experts to ensure accurate, trustworthy AI outputs for clinicians at the point of care
What You Bring
Required qualifications:
- 6+ years hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks and deploying ML systems to production
- 3+ years experience with modern backend programming (Python/JavaScript preferred)
- Proven success scaling AI/ML systems from launch to high adoption and traffic
- Experience designing and operating production-grade AI/ML systems at scale
- Hands-on experience with GenAI tools including LLM orchestration frameworks, RAG pipelines, and agent-based architectures
- Strong understanding of embedding strategies, vector search, retrieval optimization, and prompt engineering
Advantages:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field with AI/ML focus
- Experience in healthcare, biomedical NLP, or regulated/trust-sensitive domains
- Experience building document-intelligence systems for knowledge extraction, synthesis, or QA
