Role Description
Join our marketing team as our first BDR Team Lead to build, advocate, coach, and scale a high-performance outbound pipeline engine. This is a player/coach role responsible for leading Business Development Representatives, optimizing outreach strategy, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring a predictable pipeline of qualified opportunities across key hospital market segments.
This role is responsible for:
- Lead and grow a team of BDRs focused on strategic outbound and ABM-based outreach
- Develop outreach strategies across email, phone, LinkedIn, events
- Lead event-driven outreach — including conference pre-qualification and post-event acceleration
- Coordinate with PMM, sales and management to build scalable outbound playbooks including messaging refinement and persona-based insights
- Ensure the team consistently reaches meeting, outreach, and engagement targets
- Monitor and report performance using CRM metrics, dashboards, and data-driven insights
Requirements
Required qualifications and skills include:
- 1–2 years as an individual-contributor BDR in a Tech/SaaS company; startup and healthcare experience required
- 1–2 years as a BDR/SDR team manager reporting to business management
- Strong analytical and presentation skills — able to present daily, weekly and monthly reporting methodology
- AI-savvy and self-driven — ability to create playbooks dynamically and pull messaging from PMM and sales
- Strong coaching ability — creativity in empowering and advocating for the BDR team
- Familiarity with HubSpot and common BDR tools
