Director of Demand Generation

Remote, US

About C8 Health

C8 Health is a fast-growing digital health startup on a mission to transform how healthcare organizations implement their best practices, improve patient outcomes, and scale care efficiency.

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly driven and hands-on Director of Demand Generation to own and scale our end-to-end demand generation engine. This role is responsible for driving pipeline growth, optimizing conversion across the funnel, and building a repeatable, data-driven acquisition strategy. The role starts as an individual contributor with a clear path to build and lead a demand generation team over time.

What You’ll Do

  • Own Demand Generation Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-channel demand generation strategy to drive qualified pipeline and revenue.
  • Own the full funnel: awareness, acquisition, lead nurturing, conversion, and pipeline acceleration.
  • Build and Optimize Growth Channels
  • Manage and optimize channels including paid media, email, SEO/SEM, content syndication, webinars, partnerships, and outbound support; continuously test, iterate, and scale high-performing campaigns.
  • Leverage AI for Growth
  • Implement and experiment with AI tools to improve targeting, personalization, outreach, and lead nurturing; drive automation and efficiency across marketing workflows.
  • Lead Nurturing & Lifecycle Marketing
  • Design and optimize lead scoring, segmentation, and nurturing programs; partner closely with Sales to improve conversion rates and pipeline velocity.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Own performance metrics across the funnel (MQLs, SQLs, pipeline, CAC, conversion rates), build dashboards, analyze performance, and translate insights into action.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and Content to align messaging, campaigns, and GTM strategy.
  • Build for Scale
  • Lay the foundation for a scalable demand generation engine and hire and lead a team as the function grows.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience
  • 3+ years of direct demand generation experience in a high-growth startup environment; strong preference for candidates who have owned demand generation from Series A through Series C stages.
  • Proven track record of driving pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Full-Funnel Expertise
  • Deep understanding of paid acquisition, lifecycle marketing & nurture programs, marketing automation & CRM systems, conversion optimization, analytics and attribution.
  • Hands-On Operator
  • Willing and able to execute independently and comfortable building programs from scratch.
  • AI & Modern Tooling
  • Familiarity with AI tools and platforms for campaign optimization, personalization, outreach and lead nurturing; proactive about leveraging new technologies.
  • Analytical & Data-Driven
  • Strong ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights; experience with marketing analytics tools and dashboards.
  • Startup Mindset
  • Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a builder mentality and bias toward action.
  • Nice to Have
  • Experience in Healthcare B2B SaaS; experience working closely with Sales teams in a PLG + sales-assisted motion; prior experience hiring and managing a demand generation team.

Why This Role

  • Own and shape the entire demand generation function.
  • Direct impact on company growth and revenue.
  • Opportunity to build and lead a team from the ground up.
  • Work at the intersection of growth, data, and AI.
