Job Description

As part of the Corporate Tax team at the Munich headquarters, you will work as a Financial Analyst (m/f/d) in the Tax area responsible for tax reporting in the context of consolidated and annual financial statements, especially coordinating income tax and deferred taxes according to HGB and IFRS.
Your tasks include:
  • Handling tax reporting during the preparation of quarterly/annual financial statements (individual and consolidated) in cooperation with local external and internal contacts
  • Supporting the determination of current and deferred taxes under IFRS (IAS 12)
  • Assisting with the preparation of notes including tax reconciliation
  • Corresponding with tax authorities and external advisors on tax matters domestically and internationally
  • Coordinating external advisors or providing your own tax assessments on operational issues from an income and sales tax perspective in cooperation with departments (Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, Finance)
  • Managing withholding tax topics in cooperation with the Accounting department
  • Implementing changes in tax law and supporting their integration into internal IT systems
  • Participating in the continuous improvement of tax processes
  • Taking on special tasks and projects, e.g., significant changes in tax legislation or M&A topics

Qualifications

  • Successfully completed finance or business administration studies with a focus on taxes, finance/accounting, or a comparable qualification such as advanced training as a certified accountant/tax specialist
  • Knowledge of international accounting (IFRS) is an advantage
  • Professional experience in practical German tax law and related areas is advantageous
  • Fluent German and very good English skills
  • Experience with SAP is beneficial
  • Confident handling of MS Office
  • Independent working style as well as teamwork and communication skills
  • Curiosity and self-motivation to improve processes and actively contribute to the development of Brainlab Group's finance department
The position can be full-time or part-time.
