Job Description
In our R&D department "RT Positioning" we develop solutions for precise patient positioning for radiotherapy in oncology.
- Development of electronic circuits considering the specific requirements of a medical device
- Building, testing and troubleshooting prototypes
- Integration of system components into a complex medical device
- Collaboration with suppliers and development partners
- Support for regulatory certification tests (EMC, safety)
- Development of PLC-controlled systems
- Preparation and maintenance of documentation required for medical devices
- Technical support for the Technical Support team at a higher escalation level
Qualifications
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field
- Several years of professional experience in:
- Mixed-signal circuit design
- EMC-compliant PCB design, ideally with Altium Designer
- Microcontroller software development, preferably STM32
- Ideally experience in:
- Automation technology (PLC)
- Simulation of electronic circuits
- Strong practical skills, e.g., building prototypes
- Enthusiasm for technology and creative problem-solving
- High problem-solving competence
- Very good communication skills in English; German is an advantage
- Good teamwork and communication skills as well as a structured and organized working style
