Job Description

Our Corporate Finance team is responsible for a broad range of topics including group accounting, reporting, taxes, treasury and integrated planning at our headquarters in Munich.
As part of this team you will work in an exciting and international environment and contribute personally to the Group’s success. As a specialist in Group Accounting at Brainlab you will take on interesting projects and be responsible, among other things, for the following tasks:
  • Independent preparation of consolidated financial statements (monthly/quarterly/year) under IFRS using the consolidation software SEM-BCS
  • Point of contact within the Group for complex accounting issues under IFRS and HGB (German GAAP)
  • Participation in strategic projects affecting group accounting, such as M&A projects and integration of new entities into the group (including PPA)
  • Driving digitization and optimization of the group closing process and supporting the implementation of a new consolidation software
  • Gain detailed insight into the company’s financial structures and help shape important financial aspects in an international company
  • Contact person for auditors

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in business administration with a focus on international accounting and controlling
  • Several years of professional experience in accounting in an international corporate environment or at an auditing firm
  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS and HGB
  • Practical experience with SAP R3 and SEM-BCS or a comparable comprehensive consolidation solution is an advantage
  • Openness and enthusiasm for new challenges and willingness to engage in accounting-relevant topics and deepen professional knowledge
  • Excellent customer orientation as well as decision-making and assertiveness skills
  • Fluent German and very good English skills
