In the operating room, where state-of-the-art high-tech meets human life, you will be in direct contact with surgeons and clinical staff. You will deploy highly innovative medical technology that protects nerves and makes surgeries safer.
In this role you will help further strengthen the professional, innovative and sympathetic image of Dr. Langer Medical among customers and competitors. After a solid onboarding at our headquarters in Waldkirch, you will work in on-the-job training with experienced colleagues. From your home office you will support our customers in the Northern Germany region.
As an Application Specialist for intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) you will be the central interface between innovative technology and clinical practice. You will support our sales team in the DACH region, accompany surgical procedures, train medical staff and be the first point of contact regarding the use of our award-winning IONM systems.
Responsibilities include:
  • Working independently in the OR and supporting clinical staff in the use of our neuromonitoring systems
  • Presenting, training and clearly conveying complex technical content
  • Organizing and conducting workshops for employees, partners and customers
  • Close, collegial collaboration with the sales team – agile, solution-oriented and hands-on

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
  • Medical or biomedical engineering education or degree (e.g. medical engineering, MTAF, OTA, anesthesia, surgery, nursing, anatomy, neurophysiology, electrical engineering)
  • Strong didactic skills and experience in training users
  • Excellent German language skills (written and spoken) and very good English skills
  • Initial professional experience in a medical environment or in medical technology
  • Commercial awareness and entrepreneurial thinking are a plus
  • Very good organizational and time management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks
  • High social competence, team spirit and self-organization
  • Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness
  • Confident handling of software and affinity for modern technology
  • Willingness to travel regularly (over 50% of working time)
  • Residence or home office should preferably be located in the Hamburg region
