Application Consultant - Image Guided Surgery (IGS) / London & South East

Founded in Munich, Germany in 1989, Brainlab develops, manufactures and markets software-driven medical technology, enabling access to improved, more efficient, less-invasive patient treatments. The role will support growth of Brainlab's business in the London & South East region and act as primary clinical support contact for key customers.

Job Description

In this role you will be responsible for customer development activities including training, clinical support, and ongoing maintenance of Brainlab's advanced portfolio. Training will take place at Brainlab headquarters in Munich with on-the-job experience in the UK and Ireland. The role proposes a home office scenario.
  • Travel to existing key customers to grow routine clinical use of Brainlab products.
  • Perform customer training on Image Guided Surgery products.
  • Support the sales team with onsite and offsite product presentations.
  • Provide on-site guidance and assistance to physicians and medical physicists during patient treatments.
  • Communicate with strategic partners and develop mid- and long-term strategy aligned with corporate strategy.
  • Update the customer database and complete mandatory administrative tasks.
  • Attend national and international meetings and symposia.
  • Handle telephone contact, planning and follow-up of customer visits, and technical consultation.

Qualifications

  • Degree or certification in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Medical Dosimetry or equivalent.
  • Excellent training skills and professional experience in IGS or related areas.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English; additional languages and clinical experience advantageous.
  • Technical training/education experience in a professional or academic environment is an advantage.
  • Excellent organisation, time management, written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Committed to quality with strong attention to detail and high comfort with software and technology.
