Brainlab was founded 35 years ago in Munich and digitizes medical workflows from diagnosis to therapy to provide better treatment options for clinicians and patients. The innovative Brainlab ecosystem supports modern medicine in 6,700 hospitals across 127 countries.
As a member of our central Finance department you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Independent handling of day-to-day operations (travel expenses, banks, intercompany settlement, accounts receivable, accounts payable and fixed asset accounting) for one or more group entities
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local accounting regulations
- Critical review and analytical validation of financial data
- Preparation of reports and reporting for internal and external accounting
- Point of contact for external partners such as tax advisors, auditors and authorities
- Support in preparing VAT returns, statistical reports, tax refund applications and the annual income tax return
You will also have the opportunity to participate in other areas and finance projects.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- Commercial training or degree with a focus on accounting, taxes, controlling or similar
- Professional experience particularly in accounting (SAP FI) and in the financial closing process, as well as knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and HGB
- Fluent German and English skills
- Reliability and a careful, goal-oriented working style
- Analytical and structured thinking
- Teamwork skills
