Blueskeye's technology is clinical-grade, having been extensively tested in clinical trials to prove efficacy and safety.
Founded in 2019 as a spin-out from The University of Nottingham's School of Computer Science, Blueskeye received a33.4 million in venture capital funding in October 2022 led by XTX Ventures.
The company was co-founded by Professor Michel Valstar, an expert in machine learning, computer vision, and facial expression analysis, and a thought leader in affective computing and social signal processing with over 22 years of research cited more than 19,000 times in over 150 peer-reviewed publications.
Currently, Blueskeye employs over 30 people, including 10 PhDs. The team is diverse, value-led, and drawn from across the world, fostering collaborative cultural heritage and innovative ways of working.
