The company aims to create the most-used technology for ethical machine understanding of face and voice behaviour trusted to measure the mind through the use of ubiquitously available, affordable technology such as mobile phones and tablets.
Blueskeye's technology is clinical-grade and has been tested extensively in clinical trials to prove its efficacy and safety.
Founded in 2019 as a spin-out from The University of Nottingham's School of Computer Science, Blueskeye received A33.4m in funding in a venture capital round led by XTX Ventures in October 2022.
Its co-founder, Professor Michel Valstar, is an expert in machine learning, computer vision, and facial expression analysis, with over 22 years of experience and over 19000 citations in peer-reviewed publications.
The company currently employs over 30 people, including 10 PhDs. Blueskeye is a diverse, value-led team drawn from across the world, fostering idea sharing and cultural exchange.
