About Blueskeye

Blueskeye AI uses machine learning to objectively measure social, emotional, and medically relevant expressed behaviour better than ever before.
The company aims to create the most-used technology for ethical machine understanding of face and voice behaviour, trusted to measure the mind through the use of ubiquitously available, affordable technology, such as mobile phones and tablets.
Blueskeye's technology is clinical-grade, extensively tested in clinical trials and investigations to prove both its efficacy and safety.
Founded as a spin-out from the University of Nottingham's School of Computer Science, Blueskeye received funding of £3.4m in venture capital funding round led by XTX Ventures in October 2022.
Founded in 2019 by Professor Michel Valstar, an expert in machine learning, computer vision and facial expression analysis, and a thought leader in affective computing and social signal processing with over 22 years in the field and over 19000 citations.
The company currently employs over 30 people, with 10 PhDs, forming a diverse, value-led team drawn from across the world.
