About Belle Health
Belle Health is a women’s health company focused on developing digital medical devices to empower women to respond to their menstrual cycle-related challenges in an instant, safe, and drug-free way. Currently, we are in stealth mode, but we are preparing to launch our first medical device. The menstrual symptoms, such as pain, mood changes, and cognitive difficulties, are experienced by 80% of women throughout their menstrual, gestational, and menopausal cycles. These symptoms, including dysmenorrhea, PMDD, and PMS, have a significant impact on women’s daily lives, with 82.4% of women reporting missing work or going to work while feeling unwell due to these issues. Despite this, only a small percentage of women feel comfortable discussing these challenges with their superiors. Furthermore, 78% of those looking for solutions report that none of them are satisfying, highlighting a severe lack of research, investment and solutions in the field of women’s health. Our goal is to improve the overall health and well-being of women by providing solutions and support for their unique hormonal health challenges. By empowering women to take control of their health, we believe they can harness their unique gifts and use their experiences as a strength.

About the role
First and foremost, we’re looking for people who are excited about what we’re doing. We’re defining a new category, so you’ll be able to use creativity to help us solve problems and delight our customers.
Roles and job descriptions at our stage are necessarily ambiguous and cover a huge portfolio of responsibilities, so we need someone who thrives in that environment. Among the responsibilities for the role:
- Advocating for Our Community’s Needs: You will be speaking to our users and will know their needs and frustrations better than anyone else, which will put you in the best position to be their voice at Belle Health, helping us shape the app by letting the product team know what they should be focusing on.
- Leading with Empathy and Patience: Ensuring our users, many of whom have health issues, are dealt with in a friendly and professional manner.
- Customer Support: Responding to customer complaints and troubleshooting technical issues raised through Zendesk, Reddit, and Discord. Escalating issues when necessary.
- Review Responses: Responding to reviews on the app stores.
- Forum Moderation: Moderating and monitoring our Reddit and Discord forums, pointing people towards customer support and noting down feature requests where appropriate.
- Communication: Announcing beta testing and major public releases on Reddit and Discord.
- Roadmap Management: Managing our public roadmap, organizing our users’ suggestions, and grouping similar requests together.
- Relationship Development: Developing and maintaining positive relationships with our users, while championing Belle Health’s passion for customer care.
- Theme Identification: Identifying themes or recurrences in user issues and regularly reporting on these, while making suggestions to proactively improve the platform.
- Presenting User Issues: Presenting user issues and requests to the wider company.
- System Improvement: Taking initiative to create new systems and processes to make customer support more efficient and effective.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicating recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner; and working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Developers to meet customer support objectives.
- Survey Assistance: Helping the product team to organize and aggregate user surveys.
- General Support: Helping with everything from conducting user interviews with our community to assisting the product team in testing new builds.
