About the Role

As an Account Manager at Barti, you will oversee all post-onboarding functions of the Customer Success operation, including account management, renewals, expansion, and referrals. This role reports directly to the CEO and will help build processes and operational systems for the function.
  • Manage the renewals process and contract negotiations with clients
  • Regularly monitor customer health, usage, and sentiment to manage churn risks early
  • Host Quarterly Business Reviews and present status/usage reporting to clients and stakeholders
  • Sell customers on expansions to longer-term deals and consistently hit quota for upsell/expansion revenue
  • Create and run referral & reference programs
  • Improve internal processes between Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Engineering

Day to day

  • Oversee retention, renewals, and expansion for Barti’s entire book of business
  • Proactively track account health metrics, including NPS and usage, to identify expansion opportunities
  • Run demos of expansion products and shadow AM calls to introduce expansion opportunities
  • Implement or manage Customer Success systems that facilitate expansion
  • Work with Product and Engineering to incorporate customer feedback and drive prompt resolutions

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of renewal and upsell experience in Customer Success or Account Management
  • Experience in a fast-paced B2B startup environment and building processes in unstructured environments
  • Track record of quota attainment across upsell and renewal retention
  • Familiarity with tools and technology that enable a scalable, high-touch upsell motion
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and ability to manage retention of high-value accounts
  • Ability to prioritize and escalate issues that block renewals, expansion, or advocacy
  • Strong project management skills for managing multiple customers
  • Experience overseeing onboarding and support is a plus

Compensation

Compensation Range: $90K - $130K. Offers Equity, Commission, and Bonus.
