Role Overview
Autonomize AI is looking for a Technical Recruiter to help scale our engineering and AI teams from our Austin HQ. In this role you’ll own full-cycle recruiting for high-impact technical positions—partnering closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, build strong candidate pipelines, and deliver an exceptional hiring experience from first outreach through close. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we attract, assess, and hire top talent as we continue to grow.
We seek a proactive, organized, data-driven recruiter who balances speed and quality and enjoys sourcing hard-to-find talent in competitive markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process for technical roles including Full Stack Engineers, ML Engineers, DevOps & QA Engineers and other technical hires.
- Partner with hiring managers and leadership to understand priorities and shape recruiting strategies.
- Build and maintain a strong, diverse pipeline through creative sourcing across LinkedIn, GitHub, and professional communities.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience that reflects Autonomize AI’s mission and culture.
- Manage interview coordination, feedback loops, and offer negotiations efficiently and transparently.
- Track and report recruiting metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives.
Must Have Qualifications
- 4+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, preferably in high-growth tech or startup environments.
- Proven success hiring for software engineering, AI, and data-related roles.
- Deep understanding of technical stacks, modern development practices, and AI/ML talent markets.
- Proficiency with ATS platforms, sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter), and recruitment analytics.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- High sense of ownership, adaptability, and a passion for building great teams.
