The Opportunity
We are seeking a Customer-Facing Technical Program Manager to lead strategic, large-scale AI/ML transformations. You will be the primary face of Autonomize AI to executive-level customers, driving complex projects from kickoff to launch and expansion while delivering measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and own the end-to-end program roadmap for AI/ML implementations, from discovery to deployment.
- Work with engineering, product, and delivery teams to achieve aggressive go-live targets (typically 6-8 weeks).
- Proactively manage and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and budgets in highly matrixed customer environments.
- Identify opportunities for renewal and expansion by understanding customer needs and business objectives.
- Serve as the primary technical and strategic liaison to C-suite and senior IT leaders, delivering executive-level communications, program health updates, and ROI analysis.
- Build trust with customers through transparent status reporting and the creation of dashboards and business reviews.
- Translate technical capabilities, including APIs, data pipelines, and AI agents, into clear implementation plans and validate architecture/integration designs (e.g., FHIR, HL7, cloud-native ML services).
- Ensure compliance with industry standards like HIPAA and SOC2 by implementing metrics-driven QA processes.
- Refine delivery frameworks and playbooks to accelerate time-to-value and scale program methodologies across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in program or project management, with at least 5 years focused on complex, customer-facing SaaS or AI deployments.
- Proven experience in highly matrixed enterprise environments, preferably in healthcare or other regulated industries.
- Strong hands-on understanding of enterprise software concepts, including APIs, data exchange standards (FHIR, HL7), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and core ML/AI concepts.
- Exceptional executive presence and ability to simplify complex technical topics for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with project management tools like Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project and strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications & Benefits
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is a plus.
- Direct clinical experience or background working closely with healthcare professionals is a significant advantage.
