We're seeking a transformative Head of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering teams as we accelerate adoption across major health systems, payers, and provider networks. This mission-critical role combines hands-on building with strategic technology leadership to expand, secure, and scale our Agentic AI platform and ship enterprise-ready AI products for healthcare. Working with the CTO office, you will set technical vision, lead cross-functional execution, and ensure delivery with speed, quality, and resilience.

Define and evolve the platform and product roadmap aligned with business priorities and customer expectations. Guide architectural decisions across ML pipelines, APIs, and enterprise integrations. Partner with Product and GTM leaders to align platform investments with business outcomes. Own infrastructure scalability (Kubernetes on various clouds), data security, and compliance (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2) working with the CISO.

Design and evolve a high-leverage engineering org that scales across geographies and product lines. Oversee CI/CD, code quality, information security, and observability to realize an AgentOps lifecycle. Establish release cadence, identify and grow technical leaders, and partner with customer solutions and deployment teams to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality and stability.

Represent Engineering with strategic customers, translate infrastructure needs into configurable product capabilities, and ensure the platform supports high-volume clinical workflows, interoperability, and analytics.

10+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles building enterprise data and AI systems. Experience building and leading teams working with healthcare payers and/or large provider systems, preferably in fast-paced startups. Deep understanding of enterprise healthcare infrastructure, ML and data pipelines, and APIs (e.g., HL7, FHIR, EHR integrations). Strong track record of shipping secure, compliant, production-grade software in health tech.

Experience in AI/ML infrastructure or knowledge automation using Agentic and Generative AI technologies. Working knowledge of Generative AI patterns such as RAG and GraphRAG, and prompt engineering best practices. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Keda, Kafka, Agentic AI frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex), database technologies, and modern DevSecOps stacks. Expertise in scalable Kubernetes workload configurations, autoscaling, and automating DevSecOps processes to navigate security audits and vulnerabilities.

Review and optimize infrastructure costs with real-time spend metrics. Optimize instance types and execution patterns (including GPU and batch jobs). Enable faster platform installation using IaC best practices (Helm, Terraform) for streamlined, repeatable deployments. Streamline environment lifecycle management and establish quality gates using tools like Pylint, Pytest, SonarQube, and Snyk.
