About The Role

Assort Health is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and grow go-to-market efforts across health systems, clinics, and digital health partners. As an early member of the go-to-market leadership team, the Sales Manager will shape sales motion, refine playbooks, and drive new business as the company scales to its next growth stage.
The Sales Manager will manage a team of Account Executives while personally owning key enterprise accounts and high-value opportunities. The ideal candidate combines sales leadership experience with a passion for AI-driven innovation in patient engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Own pipeline growth and revenue targets across assigned territories or verticals.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team, providing coaching on discovery, objection handling, and closing strategies.
  • Develop and optimize sales playbooks, processes, and enablement tools for scalable growth.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure strong alignment across the go-to-market funnel.
  • Represent Assort Health externally at conferences, webinars, and customer meetings.
  • Collaborate with the executive team on pricing, positioning, and market expansion strategy.
  • Track and report key metrics including conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and ARR attainment.
  • Handle ambiguity and bring order amidst chaos for the benefit of the team.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience with at least 3+ years in a sales leadership or management role.
  • Experience within B2B, SaaS, AI, and/or health-tech sectors.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding team revenue targets in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Data-driven approach to sales strategy and forecasting.

Nice to Have

  • Experience scaling sales teams at Series A–C stage startups.
  • Familiarity with conversational AI products.
  • A strong network and understanding within healthcare provider, payer, or health tech ecosystems.

Compensation Range

$162,000 - $222,000 annually.
