Job description
AssistMe is a young, growing health-tech startup with a big vision: to sustainably improve everyday nursing care for all involved.
With our digital care assistant system alea, we bring innovation directly to the bedside. Our sensor-based solution for incontinence and movement monitoring relieves nursing staff, improves care for recipients, and protects the environment.
What drives us:
More time for genuine care: alea reduces unnecessary control rounds and simplifies processes
More quality of life: for residents who receive dignified and individualized care
Less burden: for nursing staff who can act more purposefully
Less waste: through more efficient use of resources
We are currently rolling out our system in care facilities across Europe - and for this, we are looking for you: a new team member with technical understanding and the desire to make a real impact.
About the role
As a Service Technician (m/f/d), you will independently carry out all steps on the way to successful implementation of our system in care facilities and clinics. You will work closely with our operations team, supporting them on site with the installation, configuration, and commissioning of our product. At the same time, you are responsible for the smooth operation, fault detection and correction, and the further development of our hardware components in collaboration with our hardware and software teams.
Your tasks

Carrying out function tests and quality assurance to ensure stable operation at the Berlin site
Continuous monitoring of system functionality (remote and on-site) as well as error analysis and correction
Collaboration with the software and embedded systems teams for problem-solving and optimization
Documentation of installation processes and escalation of technical problems
Active involvement in process optimization and the next product generation by defining and developing requirements for our product components
Your profile
You have completed a technical training or a degree with a technical component – career changers with technical understanding are also welcome
You have manual skills and enjoy getting things up and running
Ideally, you have experience in installing and configuring technical devices
High willingness to travel within Europe
Hands-on mentality, structured working style, and enjoyment of independent work in the medical and nursing environment
Empathetic demeanor and communication skills when dealing with nursing staff in care facilities and clinics
Very good German skills (at least B2), good English skills
Driving license class B
Our benefits:
Permanent employment contract and purposeful work
Salary depending on experience and qualification between €40,000 and €53,000 gross per year
Nice office directly at S-Bahn Tiergarten, near TU Berlin
Flat hierarchies, an agile team, and short decision paths
Team events and a diverse, international corporate culture
Detailed insights into the functioning of startups and the digital health sector
Urban Sports Club benefits
If you want to become part of our team, send us your resume, a short (max. 5 sentences) motivational letter, and your desired start date.
We look forward to your application!
