The Role
The mission of the Head of Revenue Operations is to build the commercial infrastructure that makes Ambience9s revenue execution predictable, inspectable, and scalable. You will operate as the single-threaded owner of Revenue Operations, shaping how we plan, forecast, execute, and measure performance across the entire GTM organization.
You will define the structures, systems, and operating rigor that govern how our teams generate, accelerate, and retain revenue 6owning everything from funnel definitions and forecasting methodology to CRM governance, commercial guardrails, and quote-to-cash workflows. Your work will bring clarity to ambiguity, ensure consistency across functions, and create the foundations for durable, repeatable commercial excellence as the company scales.
What You92ll Do
- Architect the GTM operating system 6owning funnel definitions, lifecycle logic, handoff rules, stage criteria, required data fields, and operational SLAs across Sales, Marketing, and Care Transformation.
- Design and govern the forecasting and planning system, including methodology, roll-up logic, capacity models, pipeline coverage standards, and the inspection cadence GTM leaders use to drive accountability.
- Own CRM governance (HubSpot) 6defining required fields, object models, validation rules, hygiene standards, and workflow automation to ensure clean, reliable, non-gamable data.
- Define commercial guardrails for pricing, discounting, non-standard terms, and deal routing; operate Deal Desk in partnership with Sales, Legal, and Finance.
- Establish the foundations of Ambience9s quote-to-cash process, mapping workflows end-to-end across Sales, Marketing, Care Transformation, Legal, and Finance.
- Partner closely with GTM leadership to diagnose funnel performance, identify friction or structural bottlenecks, and drive improvements that increase conversion, retention, and expansion.
- Strengthen revenue clarity and commercial rigor by publishing definitions, codifying processes, and building intuitive systems that make intended behaviors the default behaviors.
- Collaborate with Product, Data, and Engineering to define instrumentation requirements, data capture needs, and integration logic that support accurate reporting, forecasting, and workflow execution.
- Stand up the first RevOps team, defining the team charter, talent needs, and hiring sequence required to support Ambience9s 180-day and long-term commercial roadmap.
Who You Are
- You have 8+ years of experience across Revenue Operations, Business Operations, Strategy & Analytics, or equivalent roles in high-growth B2B or SaaS environments.
- You92ve built GTM systems and processes from 0 1, ideally owning the operating model, CRM architecture, and forecasting framework in a scaling organization.
- You bring deep technical fluency in Salesforce and HubSpot, with hands-on experience designing data models, workflows, automations, and integrations across the GTM stack.
- You have strong analytical and financial acumen, with experience partnering with Finance on forecasting, planning, and KPI logic.
- You92re a systems thinker who designs structure, clarity, and mechanisms that scale 1 and you hold a high bar for data integrity, definitional consistency, and operational precision.
- You have strong commercial judgment around pricing, discounting, and terms, and know how to translate business intent into crisp, system-ready logic.
- You excel in cross-functional leadership, navigating complex, ambiguous environments and building trusted partnerships across GTM, Finance, Legal, Product, and Engineering.
- You thrive in a mission-driven, entrepreneurial setting, valuing clarity, kindness, and first-principles reasoning in high-complexity situations.
Pay Transparency
We offer a base compensation range of approximately $217,884 6 $253,713 per year, exclusive of equity. This intentionally broad range provides flexibility for candidates to tailor their cash and equity mix based on individual preferences. Our compensation philosophy prioritizes meaningful equity grants, enabling team members to share directly in the impact they help create.
