About this role

Our Strategic Finance team serves as a strategic partner to Aidoc's leadership, driving data-informed decisions that shape our company's future. The team is responsible for owning the company's budget, driving annual planning processes, allocating and deploying the company's resources efficiently, performing financial analyses, evaluating M&A opportunities, supporting fundraises and partnering with teams across the company.
We are currently seeking a Generalist on the Strategic Finance team. The role requires someone who is highly analytical and strategic, a great communicator, approaches problems in a structured manner, and is comfortable with ambiguity. You’ll get substantial visibility, focus on the highest-priority business issues and be plugged into every facet of the business.
There is a strong preference for someone based in the NYC metro area for this role. While Aidoc is typically a remote-first employer in the US, this will be a hybrid position, working approximately three days a week in our NYC office with our CFO and Senior Director, FP&A.

Responsibilities

  • Build & own core operating models to help identify key business drivers and maintain a dynamic forecast in a fast changing environment
  • Develop cross-functional partnerships with leadership across the company to review investment opportunities, growth levers, and align on a resourcing model
  • Establish high-quality internal and external reporting packages covering financial & operational performance
  • Drive annual and long-range planning cycles, informing capital allocation decisions and setting operating budgets
  • Drive culture of performance management with real time dashboards, KPIs, and insights into emerging trends
  • Build annual operating plans, quarterly and monthly financial forecasts (including headcount and expense), and ongoing analysis of performance and investment to  highlight trends, opportunities, and causes of unexpected variances
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for the Executive Leadership Team

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting
  • Low-ego, high-drive work style, with a strong attention to detail and high personal bar for quality
  • Exceptional analytical skills and financial acumen, with strong written & verbal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and develop concrete action plans
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functionally and business partnering
  • Ability to work independently, think critically and problem solve structurally in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Fundamental understanding of software business models and key KPIs
  • Strong candidates may have:
  1. Background in healthcare technology companies, particularly high-growth SaaS or AI/ML organizations
  2. Track record of AI-driven process automation and systems implementation
  3. MBA, CFA or relevant advanced degree
